The specification sheet of a HTC DoubleShot which is supposedly the successor of myTouch 4G was released a few weeks back and everyone was amped up by the specifications specified. Now, trusted sources have revealed that HTC DoubleShot is a myTouch 4G with a Slide full QWERTY keyboard. It seems that DoubleShot is officially myTouch 4G with android 2.3 Gingerbread. Some interesting new features are revealed by these sources and the news just makes myTouch 4G Slide much more interesting.

HTC myTouch 4G Slide will be for high end mobile phone users, meaning that the phone will be loaded with apps with a really fast processor. It is going to be the first phone to record 3D videos in 1080p. Currently, a few phones in the market are capable of 3D video recording, but the resolution was only 720p. The display of myTouch 4G Slide will be a 3.7\" WVGA LCD touch screen. There is going to be a 8 megapixel rear facing camera along with a front facing camera to enable 3D video recording.

myTouch 4G Slide will be supporting HSDPA networks that provide faster speeds of the range of 14.4Mbps and HSUPA networks at a speed of 5.75 Mbps. There will be updated Bluetooth 3.0 in the Touch 4G Slide phone. We still have to wait and see what wonders will T Mobile do with the Gingerbread 2.3 operating system.
