HTC Pure features a 3.2\" resistive touchscreen which is the major feature of this phone. The display has 480 x 800 resolution which is pretty much standard for modern day smart phones. It has a 'slab' form factor and the black colored slab cries out sophistication. At the bottom of the phone, there are four hardware buttons and those who are so used to the trackball and navigation button will miss it badly in pure.

Windows 6.5 Professional Mobile operating system is pretty neat and almost perfect. This time, you will see a four column grid instead of the traditional three columns used in most HTC devices. The TouchFLo interface from HTC is 3D now and it looks impressive. Not that you can get real 3D effect, but the ability of selected icons to float from the rest certainly creates a 3D illusion. As usual, AT&T has loaded some of its apps on HTC Pure and a custom AT&T brand tab is available to get quick access to those apps. MobiTV is included and you have to pay for it after the trial period.

HTC Pure includes a 5 megapixel camera at the back, but the lack of flash is pretty disappointing. The camera however does a good job on photos and videos. Music and video player are from AT&T and you can use Windows Mobile market if you want more. The HTC Pure is highly stable and some of the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system features are new and exciting. With Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other connectivity options, Pure is a pretty reasonable phone for the price, except that you have to sacrifice the 3.5mm headphone jack because Pure just doesn't have it.
