The boxier design of HTC S630 looks very much similar to T Mobile Dash, but the design itself makes the phone look slightly bulkier and heavier even though measurements are the same as that of Dash. HTC S630 Cavalier has 2.4\" display and it is a non-touch screen. The images and text look bright and colorful and even in bright sunlight, readability of the display is pretty good. Below the display are the hardware buttons along with a five way navigation toggle. There is a full QWERTY keyboard which captures our attention. The keys are so close together and those who have big hands should definitely find it very difficult to use the keyboard.

On the right spine, HTC S630 has an interesting addition which is the jogger touch sensitive strip. This strip can be used to adjust call volume and scroll through menu items. It is also possible to completely shut down the function of the strip and it is useful because sometimes, the touch sensitive strip is not so very sensitive.

HTC S630 runs on Windows Mobile 6 operating system which comes fully loaded with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer along with several goodies including Adobe reader. A powerful 400Mhz Samsung processor provides additional power, thus you can forget about sluggish phones. Cavalier has 3G connectivity support, which is very much welcome as HSDPA speeds are much better. There is also integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to make the connectivity options complete.

Just like new age mid-range smart phones, HTC S630 also has 2 megapixel camera with 8X zoom and video recording capabilities. The camera has self portrait mirror, but there is no LED flash. Video and audio players are good with S630, but the smallish screen is not very great to watch full length movies and Cavalier certainly has a weak speaker. "; include 'phone.php'; ?>
