HTC S740 looks very masculine copying the Nokia Prism effect. The overall look makes it very much similar to HTC Touch Diamond. The 2.4\" QVGA display is good and it offers better readability under the sun too. The flushed out keys look extremely fantastic and they are very good to use and you only need to touch them. The round D pad is attractive and it blinks in white when you have a new missed call or unread message. Below the hardware buttons, there is a numeric keypad for quick access.

The slide out keyboard ob HTC S740 is one of the best among the Windows smart phones with smooth sliding option. The keys are very well placed and it is easy to type even for those with big hands. Interesting new indicators have been added to indicate you whether you have caps lock and function keys on.

HTC S740 runs on upgraded Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard Operating System. Home screen can be customized and this time it is HTC home screen again. You can change it to regular Windows Mobile home screen if you wish. The phone comes loaded with boatload of useful Windows apps and you can download more if you want.

There is a 3.2 megapixel camera at the back and again, lack of flash is annoying. Video recording is pretty basic. There is nothing much to talk about the standard audio and video player and with the small screen, there is nothing much to expect too. The handset is pretty responsive with 528Mhz MSM7225 processor. High speed internet connectivity can be exploited, thanks to 3G support offered by HTC S740. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also available. "; include 'phone.php'; ?>
