HTC Tattoo is the fourth android powered phone from HTC. It is a low budget phone and it is the first of its kind to feature a 2.8\" touch screen. Those who don't want to spend a fortune for a smart phone will certainly be pleased with HTC Tattoo. It is not necessary to even mention that HTC has made some compromises about the hardware to keep the price low.

Tattoo is a light weight, compact device, thanks to the pretty small screen. The rounded design of the phone makes it look very good on your hands. The 2.8\" QVGA LCD screen is very much similar to the screens that you often find in older Windows phones. It is bright and sharp, but readability under sun is pretty poor. The screen has low resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and if Tattoo is your first smart phone, you won't complain about it. Below the screen, there are standard android hardware buttons. The smallish screen makes the on screen keyboard pretty small and those with big fingers may have to struggle with it.

Even though HTC Tattoo is an entry level phone, it is powered by Qualcomm 528 Mhz processor that is common with other high end HTC phones. Moreover, the android operating system is loaded with so many new features and more apps and widgets can be downloaded directly from the android market. Just like a high end HTC phone, Tattoo also features Sense UI interface.

Tattoo is a social network savvy phone, but internet connectivity options are limited to 2G and Wi-Fi. Browsing the internet using the built-in browser is not very great; blame it on the small screen which requires a lot of zooming in. At the rear end, there is a 3.2 megapixel camera without LED flash or auto focus. The camera is not very great and it is something that you can expect from an entry level phone. The battery life of HTC Tattoo is pretty great and you can go on for a day without charging even with heavy usage. "; include 'phone.php'; ?>
